The Wine & Spirit Education Trust, through its WSET Awards division, develops and manages vocational qualifications for the Wine & Spirit related industries.
The WSET is the only wine & spirit education organisation approved by the UK government as a national awarding body of vocational qualifications. The WSET qualifications provide underpinning knowledge which can be applied in a number of different job functions.
The WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits is a 1 day course that provides basic product knowledge and skills in service and marketing of spirits to prepare a person for their first job in hospitality or the spirit industry.
