Background
After 30 years as a lecturer in Adult Education, I have taught languages and wine education courses at all levels, from beginner to post-graduate. As a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certified Educator, I have delivered WSET courses from Level 1 to 3 for many years and have been course tutor for the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Northern Ireland since 2003.
Employers in both the wine retail and hospitality sectors who have invested in wine education for their employees benefit from well-trained staff who are confident in advising customers and selling or serving wines.
Oriole also attracts a growing number of people who enjoy wine, but have decided that they would like to be more adventurous. Wine education courses have enabled them to try new grape varieties and styles of wine, allowing them to build a greater knowledge of the ‘world of wine’.
